CES 2024 just wrapped in Las Vegas and already CTA (Consumer Technology Association) has registration open for next year's 2025 convention. It's a smart way to ensure that anyone still hyped on all that was CES '24 keeps their momentum on flow with early registration. And, registering early gives earlier access to all the latest news and info from exhibitors and CTA in general, so it's something we like to do as soon as the show ends. While many other conventions have a lag between the time the current show ends and when they open registration for the following year, CTA gets it right as far as we're concerned.

With almost a full week's worth of press events, keynotes, seminars, and sessions, CES 2024 was one of the most highly attended events for the tech and electronics industry, as so many consumers, media, and industry insiders hop on the tech and innovation bandwagon now that AI and tech innovation is a mainstream topic pretty much everywhere these days.

With celebrity appearances (Eva Longoria and Blake Griffin were a couple of the celebs that took the stage during keynotes and sessions), entertainment headlining, and dishing out startup advice, even some of Hollywood's elite got in on the action. But the prime purpose of CES was the new tech, and new advancements, and this year did not disappoint.

What our Tech Deck Magazine writers and editors noticed most was the amount of products using various levels of artificial intelligence (AI). From digital health wearables like smart rings and smart patches to personal security devices and smart home systems, most new tech features AI in some capacity. Whether enhancing user experiences, optimizing processes, or enabling unmatched functionalities, AI is here to stay and driving the next wave of technological advancements. Its ability to learn, adapt, and analyze vast amounts of data empowers industries to push boundaries and deliver more intelligent, responsive, and sophisticated solutions to consumers, and there was no better place to showcase this than at CES 2024.

While in the past the Consumer Electronics Show has heavily showcased at the Las Vegas Convention Center, but this year's CES was widely spread throughout the various casino resorts along the strip, making it difficult at times to easily get to the various segmented exhibitors and sessions. CTA, however, did a remarkable job of providing various shuttles, trams, and even an army of underground Teslas to get attendees back and forth between venues.

Large brand heavyweights were there as expected, along with many new categories of sessions, product, and exhibitors as well. One of this year's new tracks was C-Space, an entertainment, media, and content showcase setup at the Aria Casino Hotel and Convention Space. This area was popular with the film and television studio crowd, as well as the streaming community, media marketing, and television execs. One session featured A-list actor Robert Downey, Jr., while others included many top brass in their entertainment executives speaking panel lineup.

We'd be amiss to not mention the plethora of parties and offsite entertainment events held in conjunction with CES, and all the many networking events that can be a bit dizzying trying to keep up with. One of our favorites being the Female Quotient Women in Tech Networking Brunch held at the Aria Sky Suites. Tapped to shine a light on DEI in tech and at CES, the female focused event was a highlight of or female editors here at Tech Deck Magazine.

(All in) all, this year's CES stands as a testament to the resilience and creativity of the tech industry. With record-breaking attendance, the halls were alive with excitement and the collective spirit of innovation that defines our era. From groundbreaking AI applications to revolutionary advancements in consumer electronics, CES 2024 truly set a new benchmark. And as we bid farewell to this remarkable gathering, our anticipation for what lies ahead is palpable. With each passing year, CES evolves, and the promise of even more groundbreaking technologies and collaborations ensures that our eyes are firmly set on the horizon. Here's to the incredible innovations of CES 2024 and the limitless possibilities that await us at CES 2025. Until then, the journey of exploration and discovery in the world of technology continues, catch it right here at Tech Deck Magazine!
